Chiropractic Care is a Family Affair

The team at Naturally Chiropractic love seeing families thrive.

Here are our top five reasons your kids should be coming to the Chiropractor.

1. It's all in the research

Research shows Chiropractic Care can help kids with improved sleep², improved behaviour and attitude³, improved immunity¹ (fewer colds and ear infections) and reduced bedwetting². There are a multitude of case studies showing the positive effects Chiropractic Care has on babies with reflux and colic². There is a growing body of evidence to support the value of Chiropractic Care for kids with a particular emphasis on its safety and gentle methods⁴.

2. Growing up with a healthy and aligned spine

The majority of spinal growth occurs in the first five years of life when a child is learning to crawl and walk. During this time there is plenty of opportunity for spinal dysfunction to occur. The birthing experience itself (even in the most ideal circumstances) can lead to trauma in the neck and spine. As your child grows they learn to play and discover the world around them. Falls and tumbles are a key part of their adventures. It is much easier to do a small correction of a youngster than months of work on an adult who may have spent years compensating for dysfunction they sustained as a child.

3. Improved Attention

Chiropractic Care has been shown to improve ADHD symptoms such as hyperactivity and inattentiveness, as well as behavioural, social, or emotional difficulties³.

4. Better brain and nervous system function

Children’s brains are constantly growing, developing, and changing. Each new experience prompts a change in brain structure, function, or both. Our brains are truly extraordinary, the ability they have to adapt as a result of an experience is termed neuroplasticity. Our brains are the most adaptable during the early years of life - this is why it is easier to learn a new language or instrument when we are young! Chiropractic adjustments have been shown to improve a child's brain neuroplasticity and motor-skill function⁵’⁶.

5. Holistic whole body healthcare

Your child will always receive natural, drug free, and compassionate care. We work with your kids so their bodies are better able to heal themselves and function optimally.

Our kids get their ears, eyes and teeth checked regularly so why shouldn’t they be getting the most important system in their body, the nervous system, checked as well.
